Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FreePDFApp ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Acceptable Use

FreePDFApp provides free online PDF tools for both personal and commercial use. You may use our tools to convert, edit, compress, merge, split, and otherwise process PDF files for any lawful purpose.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal activity or to process files that violate applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile any part of the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the Service in a manner that degrades performance for other users.
• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or other harmful content.
• Circumvent any access restrictions or rate limits imposed by the Service.

File Handling

You retain full ownership of all files you upload to or process with FreePDFApp. We do not claim any rights over your files or their contents.

For server-side tools that require file uploads, your files are processed and then automatically deleted within 1 hour. FreePDFApp does not make copies, backups, or retain any version of your files beyond what is necessary for processing. For client-side tools, your files are processed entirely within your browser and are never uploaded to our servers.

File Size Limits

FreePDFApp supports files up to 500MB in size. Files exceeding this limit may be rejected or may experience degraded processing performance. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time to ensure reliable service for all users.

Intellectual Property

All files you process through FreePDFApp remain your intellectual property. FreePDFApp makes no claim of ownership over any user-submitted content. We do not access, review, or use your files for any purpose other than performing the requested processing operation.

The FreePDFApp name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of FreePDFApp and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No Guarantees

FreePDFApp is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any output produced by our tools. PDF conversion and processing may result in variations from the original document, including differences in formatting, fonts, images, or layout. You are responsible for verifying that any output meets your requirements before relying on it.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FreePDFApp and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for using the Service (which is zero for free users).

Modifications to Terms

FreePDFApp reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
